"So, what were you doing?" you may ask. Well, I went on the adventure of a lifetime. I won the lottery, pawned off my children on their grandparents, and my husband and I spent weeks having sordid adventures around the world. The details are just too shocking to put in a blog.
Yeah, not even a little.
The real answer is: life? I got consumed reading some books. I do that from time to time, and it never ends well for anything else in my life. And then my husband left on temporary duty assignment. He was gone for two weeks going to bars, going out dancing, drinking with friends, hitting the casinos... and I guess there was a little F-15 flying in there somewhere too... But that means I had Rugrat 1 and Rugrat 2 all by myself. It was sort of a crazy house around here.
But I'm back! And I'm back with some awesome news! Not about myself, of course. Please remember, I only try to be cool. But I do know people who are cool in real life!
Instead of the "normal" posts I've done thus far- outfit recreations, crafting ideas, organization ideas, etc- I'd like to make a post to brag on some extraordinary people I happen to know personally who are deserving of massive amounts of praise and adoration. Do they know I'm blogging about them? Nope! Will it creep them out? Maybe, though I hope they see it as complimentary instead of crazy-stalker-fan-girlish.
First and foremost, I would like to congratulate a very talented young writer on signing with the literary agent of her dreams! After years of hard work and perseverance, she has finally been rewarded for her amazing skill!
